The set is intended for the collection and preservation of viruses and atypical microorganisms, including Influenza, SARS-CoV-2, HSV, Chlamydia, Mycoplasma, and Ureaplasma. The set complies with relevant European legislation: The transport tube is manufactured in accordance with IVD Directive 97/79/EC. The swabs are manufactured in accordance with MDD 93/42/EEC, classified as Class IIa, sterile, including amendments introduced by Directive 2007/47/EC. Thanks to these certifications, the set is suitable for use in clinics, laboratories, medical practices, and diagnostic facilities. The tube is made of polypropylene and fitted with a polyethylene cap featuring innovative Capture Cap technology, ensuring secure retention of the transport medium.
