DaklaPack takes it a step further: we support our clients throughout the entire process, including production, IT solutions and data management. Our goal is to simplify, innovate and deliver - from concept to final product.
What do we do?
We provide tailored solutions for businesses facing various packaging and shipping challenges. Our expertise spans custom product manufacturing, packaging filling, assembly, inventory management, IT solutions and conducting laboratory analyses for diagnostic materials in health assessments.
To maintain our leading edge and anticipate new developments, DaklaPack boasts an in-house innovation department. Here, we craft solutions tailored to meet market demands and, more importantly, uncover hidden needs that our clients may not even be aware of.
Innovation is at the heart of everything we do, and it shows: we’ve pioneered several breakthrough solutions. A prime example is the collection kit for the Dutch national bowel cancer screening program, enabling participants aged 55 to 75 to conduct at-home tests. DaklaPack designs, produces and assembles this kit, complete with unique data-linking technology.
DaklaPack in the early days
DaklaPack was founded in 1975 as Minigrip Nederland BV, focusing initially on the ‘minigrip bag’: a plastic pouch with an innovative grip seal. Over the years our product range expanded significantly. This evolution, coupled with entry into international markets and the acquisition by the current owner in 2004, led to a rebranding: DaklaPack was born.
Where we stand today
Since 2004, DaklaPack has experienced rapid growth, expanding from 7 to 350 full-time employees. Our diverse teams include sales, innovation, supply chain, finance, warehouse, IT, production, filling and kitting.
Today, DaklaPack is recognized as a major international company, with sales offices in Germany, Belgium, France and the United Kingdom. We have also expanded beyond Europe since 2008, with production and kitting facilities in Guangzhou (China), Hong Kong (China) and New Jersey (USA).
