The newly developed IATA Safetybag fully complies with applicable international transport regulations and is approved as a secondary packaging component within combination packagings for road, sea, and air transport in accordance with P650 (ADR/RID/ADN/IMDG) and PI650 (ICAO-TI / IATA). The Safetybag is constructed from multiple layers of durable, high-strength plastic and is resistant to an internal pressure of 95 kPa within a temperature range of -40°C to +55°C. This makes it suitable for the safe transport of infectious substances of Class 6, Division 6.2 (UN3373 – Category B). In addition to maximum safety, the Safetybag offers practical ease of use: the bag is flexible, easy to fill and seal, and requires minimal storage space.
