The Blood 10+ blood bag indicator is a temperature-sensitive indicator that can be used by blood banks and blood transfusion services to monitor quality during blood transport and temporary storage. When the Blood 10+ is applied to a pre-cooled blood bag, it can be transported immediately or temporarily returned to the refrigerator for future use*. The Blood 10+ records the blood temperature. Any exceedance of the blood temperature above 10 °C is indicated in the breach window by a blue color. The duration of the temperature breach is indicated by time markings (1/2, 1, 2, and 3 hours). Temperature unit: °C or °F Temperature threshold: 9 °C–10 °C / 48 °F–50 °F The Blood 10+ may remain on a stored blood bag as long as no indication is observed. Timestrip indicators are available in various values. The Timestrip BT10+ replaces the Timestrip BT10 (item 470045).
